Top Quality In-Line Foiling at Bellak Color

Having just returned from a week in Miami at Bellak Color I have to say that the in-line foiling that they are doing there is absolutely first class! Printers Juani and Manny seem to have got the process down to a tee and the varied work they are producing is fantastic. Most generously, Luis gave to me numerous printed samples, which are also most welcome, from business cards, magazine covers, CD covers to posters. All jobs were full colour, many were front and reverse, with OFT Adhesive and Kurz foil.

Drupa Exhibition, Düsseldorf 2008

A big thank you to friends new & old that visited our stand during the extremely successful fortnight at Drupa 2008. Roger had the arduous task of manning the stand for the full two weeks, although he was aided by Kevin and co, I only arrived for the last few days, so I missed Eurographica, Kobundo, MPS and Guatteri but it was good to meet two of our agents in Sean from Turkey and Claudio from Peru ( lets hope that they’re as successful as Sandro and Kevin ).

Interest in our Foiltone and Filmtone units was nothing short of phenomena with potential customers and printers from 6 of the 7 continents showing was nothing short of phenomenal with potential customers and printers from 6 of the 7 continents showing a marked interest ( fortunately I don’t think anyone from Antarctica made the trip to the show ).
Most people were very knowledgeable about the process but nevertheless still impressed with the samples that we had on show around the stand.
Note to guys at Bellak: Everyone was well impressed with the silver man poster– we literally had women fighting over it!!!!!

Also thanks to A.P.I. and guys at Kurz stand esp. Patrick C

SPECTRUM BROCHURE

The first OFT Foiltone unit installed in the States was fitted in Spectrum Lithograph in Fremont, California. Not to be outdone, we have just recently received a classy brochure printed at Dino’s factory showing the varying ranges of applications that can be achieved with the altering of the artwork. The brochure is planned out with a page of foil only, then opposite ,foil with four colour overprinted. It’s a effective way of illustrating the contrasts that can be achieved with the use of inline foil printing. I’m not sure who did the actual printing, Robert or Bob, but knowing Dino I’m pretty sure he was on the press himself throughout the run.
